How to send Bulk Emails using Phplist – An Open Source Bulk Mailer Software
phplist is an open-source newsletter manager. phplist is free to download, install and use, and is easy to integrate with any website.  Once you have installed and configured the phplist, you can send your first bulk mailer. The procedure is shown below. First you need to login to admin panel and click on send a message.
The send message screen looks like above screenshot. Here you need to give a subject, your from email address as well as your content of the mailer. then click on save button.  Now just go to Format Tab.

The format Tab is very important, because you need the select the format of your mail. There are two options available one is html and second one is text. So if you are sending a html mailer then set is as HTML.
Now next tab is scheduling tab.
If you want to send your mailer on a less traffic time, then you can schedule your mailer here.
One more settings to go before sending the mailer, thats Lists tab.
Under Lists tab you need to select the uploaded email list to whom we are sending the mailer. once you have selected the list of email ids then click on save and send the mailer by clicking on send mailer button.
