The security appliance supports a number of file server types, including TFTP and FTP, to download a system image into flash (disk0). The image upgrade process uses the copy command followed by the name of the file transfer type. The copy command copies the specified files from the source location or URL to the destination location (flash). The command syntax for the copy command is as follows:

copy [/noconfirm] {url:[path]} {local:[path]}

The security appliance uses HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and TFTP protocols as the source location of the image file. The url keyword specifies the file transfer protocol and the exact location of the system image file. The full syntax of the url keyword is as follows:

ftp://[user[:password]@]server[:port]/[path/]filename[;type=xx]

http://[user[:password]@]server[:port]/[path/]filename

https://[user[:password]@]server[:port]/[path/]filename

tftp://[user[:password]@]server[:port]/[path/]filename[;int=interface_name]
