The handset may be available in the Open Handset Model and could function across all CDMA carriers in India. This CDMA device will seemingly join chief carriers such as Reliance and Tata, who use CDMA networks.

Reportedly, this new Samsung Corby could be seen as one of the few touchscreen phones in India having CDMA. The device is also claimed to be one of the first CDMA touchscreen phones to offer access to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and more.

When it comes to features, the device will carry the same attributes as the GSM model. For the uninformed, the handset comes with a 2.8 inch QVGA display, a 2.0 MP camera and a TouchWiz user interface. Samsung Corby also boasts of a TML browser, Stereo FM radio with RDS and Bluetooth.
